Deafness affects 3 out of every 1,000 babies. The most common congenital anomaly found in newborns, hearing loss and deafness can be developmentally and educationally handicapping.
Oralingua teaches young children from infancy to age 12 to develop good listening skills and spoken language. This innovative program has been in Uptown Whittier since 1969 and opened a satellite program near San Diego in 2008.
Oralingua School is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization and is recognized by the California Department of Education as a nonpublic school (NPS). We have a long history of helping students reach their full potential. Their achievements allow us to say…”Our work speaks for itself!”
